Santander is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead daily operations at its Toms River, NJ location. The role focuses on delivering secure, efficient banking services while providing an exceptional customer experience and supporting team development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee branch risk controls, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash handling, vault and ATM custodianship, and conduct regular cash counts and audit logs.
• Deliver personalized, seamless service to customers, handling deposits, withdrawals, payments and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain effective lobby management to optimize customer flow and engagement.
• Support teller operations, provide coaching, and ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Utilize data‑driven insights to improve branch performance and operational efficiency.
• Assist nearby branches when business needs require.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent work experience accepted.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in bank branch operations or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of operational risk controls and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for in‑person, phone, and digital interactions.
• Ability to lead and develop team members toward their career goals.
