About the role
Santander is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to ensure efficient, secure branch operations while delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting team growth.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments and resolve issues promptly.
- Oversee operational risk controls, including vault and ATM custodianship.
- Manage lobby flow, ensure a welcoming environment and maintain accurate cash counts and audit logs.
- Support teller line with coaching, feedback and accurate transaction processing.
- Utilize data‑driven decisions to improve branch performance and operational efficiency.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of successful branch banking or related operations experience (or 12+ months Santander experience with endorsements).
- 18+ months cash handling and high‑volume customer service experience.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Cash handling and audit log maintenance.
- Basic math and computer proficiency.
