Book Advertising and Newsletter Specialist

About the role

The Book Advertising and Newsletter Specialist creates and manages CRS’s digital newsletters, drives paid advertising on Amazon and other reseller platforms, and supports social‑media and Google campaigns to meet retail book‑sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, curate and execute weekly, bi‑monthly and monthly newsletters, writing compelling copy and tracking performance metrics.
• Manage Amazon Vendor Central PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display) and optimize product listings.
• Coordinate email, Google Ads, and social‑media promotions, maintaining content calendars and engaging audiences.
• Collaborate with marketing, editorial and publishing teams on new‑book launches and author promotions.
• Maintain reseller catalogs, vendor files and support reseller relations for Amazon, Follett, Ingram, Barnes & Noble, etc.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
• 1+ years of professional experience in digital marketing, copywriting or newsletter production.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written communication and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HubSpot and Meta advertising platforms.
• Experience using Amazon Vendor Central and other reseller portals.
• Knowledge of Google Ads, Google Merchant Center and PPC fundamentals.
• Familiarity with social‑media scheduling tools.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and G‑Suite productivity software.
