About the role

The Institute of Information Sciences, Technologies and Architecture (Istar‑Iscte) at ISCTE offers a four‑month research scholarship to a bachelor‑level student. The fellow will contribute to the AIH project, which aims to define a secure standard for health‑data storage and AI‑driven applications.

Key responsibilities

• Familiarise with the AIH project context, objectives and data sources.
• Participate in defining regulatory, technical and functional requirements for the health‑data standard.
• Assist in designing the technical specification of the standard.
• Contribute to the preparation and submission of a scientific article in English.
• Draft a technical report outlining the proposed specification based on the gathered requirements.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a bachelor programme at a recognised higher‑education institution.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, health‑data management and research.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
• Proficiency in English for scientific writing and communication.
