About the role

The Institute of Information, Technologies and Architecture (Istar‑Iscte) offers a research scholarship for a Master student to contribute to the AIH project, which aims to develop a secure standard for health data storage and AI applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on artificial intelligence and machine‑learning methods applied to health data security.
• Design, implement and evaluate predictive and optimisation models.
• Develop real‑time system prototypes and algorithmic solutions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and produce technical reports.
• Participate in project meetings and disseminate results in scientific venues.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Master’s programme at a Portuguese higher‑education institution.
• Not exceed a cumulative two‑year period of research scholarships of this type.
• Strong interest in AI, data security and health‑care applications.
