About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a board‑certified/board‑eligible Urologist to join the team at Ochsner Medical Center – Baptist in New Orleans. The position welcomes both newly trained and experienced physicians to provide comprehensive urologic care.

Key responsibilities

Deliver state‑of‑the‑art medical and surgical urology services across adult, pediatric, and oncology specialties.
Collaborate with residents and APPs in a teaching environment, utilizing two DaVinci Xi robotic systems.
Perform procedures in multiple cystoscopy suites, prostate biopsy areas, and advanced laser and minimally invasive therapy rooms.

Required profile

Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Urology (BC/BE).
Ability to work onsite in a high‑volume hospital setting and engage with a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

Proficiency with DaVinci Xi robotic surgery.
Experience in cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, and robotic HIFU.
Knowledge of laser therapies, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, and minimally invasive urologic techniques.
