About the role
Quartet Veterinary Specialty Hospital is seeking a full‑time, board‑certified (or residency‑trained) small‑animal surgeon to join its established specialty surgical practice in Cary, North Carolina. You will deliver high‑quality orthopedic, soft‑tissue, and neurosurgical procedures while working within a collaborative, referral‑driven environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a balanced caseload of orthopedic, soft‑tissue, and neurosurgical surgeries.
- Utilize advanced imaging and surgical technologies to support diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate closely with an anesthesia team led by a residency‑trained doctor and a dedicated RVT staff.
- Maintain meticulous medical records and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
- Participate in mentorship and education of junior clinicians and support staff.
Required profile
- Board‑certified or residency‑trained in small‑animal surgery.
- Proven experience in a referral‑based specialty practice.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence‑based veterinary care.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
