Board Certified Psychiatrist – Outpatient Behavioral Health

About the role

Pathways Center is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to provide outpatient behavioral health services at its Newnan and Carrollton clinics in Georgia. This full‑time position blends direct patient care with physician leadership, overseeing advanced practice providers and contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for adults with mental illness and substance‑use disorders.
• Serve as Clinical Supervisor and Delegating Physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
• Mentor and support advanced practice providers, fostering their professional growth.
• Participate in case reviews, clinical consultations, and interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other team members to maintain high‑quality, evidence‑based care across both outpatient sites.

Required profile

• Board certification in Psychiatry.
• Experience in outpatient mental health and substance‑use disorder treatment.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and interest in supervising advanced practice providers.
• Commitment to evidence‑based, person‑centered care.
