Biology Instructor (Full-Time)

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a full‑time Biology Instructor to deliver technical and occupational biology courses. This 12‑month contract position involves classroom, lab, and field instruction that mirrors industry environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans, curricula, syllabi, and learning objectives for credited biology courses.
• Teach theory and practical applications of biology in face‑to‑face, hybrid, or on‑campus formats.
• Evaluate student progress, grade coursework promptly, and maintain program accreditation.
• Prepare and submit documentation, administrative reports, and budget requests.
• Participate in professional development, workshops, and conferences.
• Support recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives.

Required profile

• Under general supervision, capable of preparing instructional materials and managing classroom resources.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse student population.
• Willingness to teach day, evening, or distance‑learning classes as needed.
