Billing Specialist

About the role

The Billing Specialist ensures accurate and timely generation of customer invoices while supporting both internal and external stakeholders. This role is essential for maintaining compliance with corporate billing standards and delivering high customer satisfaction through precision and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices according to billing schedules and contractual terms.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, including cancellations, rebills, credit/debit memos, and disputed charges.
• Conduct invoice audits using SAP and other reporting tools to ensure data integrity.
• Validate order details and meter reads for account‑specific billing requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments and customers to gather information needed for invoice accuracy.
• Respond promptly to billing inquiries via phone, email, and fax using the call‑center platform.
• Provide coverage during team absences, special projects, and peak periods.
• Maintain strict adherence to Konica Minolta’s billing policies and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable, preferably in an SAP environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Customer‑focused, professional, and courteous demeanor.
