Bilingual Pre-Litigation Attorney (Personal Injury)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Pre‑Litigation Attorney to join our personal injury practice. The attorney will manage high‑volume plaintiff‑side cases, oversee a team of case managers and paralegals, and drive negotiations toward favorable resolutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload from intake through settlement, ensuring accurate documentation of facts and impacts.
• Analyze case data to assess liability, risk, and potential outcomes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to case managers, paralegals, and negotiators.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and opposing parties, facilitating negotiations or alternative dispute resolutions.
• Conduct regular case reviews, track progress, and identify matters for escalation.
• Oversee departmental operations, coordinate workflows across teams, and improve process efficiency.
• Build and sustain client and community relationships, delivering responsive service and clear expectations.
• Research and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of North Carolina.
• 3‑5 years of negotiation and settlement experience in personal injury law.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and mentoring legal staff.
• Minimum 3 years of pre‑litigation experience, preferably in plaintiff‑side personal injury cases.
