Bilingual Passenger Service Agent (English/French)

About the role

Swissport is looking for a bilingual Passenger Service Agent to join its team at Orlando International Airport (MCO). You will be the front‑line representative for passengers, handling check‑in, baggage, special assistance and customer inquiries while ensuring compliance with airline and airport regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and verify passenger documentation and issue boarding passes.
• Manage baggage processing, calculate fees and coordinate gate‑checked items.
• Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, VIPs and wheelchair users.
• Make public address announcements and guide passengers through customs, immigration and quarantine.
• Support ramp agents by ensuring wheelchairs, strollers and cleared bags are available for loading and delivery.
• Operate jet‑way equipment and airline‑specific reservation/ticketing software.
• Produce required work‑related documentation and handle customer complaints.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Professional fluency in English and French (written and verbal).
• Strong customer‑service orientation with relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently, attention to detail and numeracy.
• Legal US residency (green card or citizenship) and willingness to work in inclement weather.

Required skills

• Proficiency with airline reservation software.
• Proficiency with ticketing software.
• Operation of jet‑way equipment.
