Bilingual Outpatient Receptionist (English/Spanish) – SUD Treatment

About the role

The Outpatient Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and callers at our Lincoln Heights outpatient facility. This full‑time position supports clinical staff by handling front‑desk duties, managing client documentation and ensuring a welcoming, confidential environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming phone calls to appropriate staff.
• Greet visitors, screen them for clearance, and maintain the sign‑in book.
• Accept deliveries, manage mail, and keep the lobby orderly.
• Perform urinalysis testing and generate related documentation.
• Assemble new client charts, maintain closed‑chart files, and ensure client confidentiality.
• Maintain supply inventory, place office supply orders, and liaise with external vendors.
• Create basic forms and documents using computer applications.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and communicate professionally with clinical staff.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and professional demeanor.
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
• Basic computer proficiency.
