Bilingual Customer Support Associate

About the role

Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, is hiring a Bilingual Customer Service Representative for its Anderson, SC office. The role handles inbound calls from consumers, service centers and distributors about company policies, procedures, warranties and parts, and offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Respond accurately to consumer, service center and distributor calls about company policies and procedures.
• Verify and authorize warranty coverage for all callers.
• Provide helpful direction on warranty and non-warranty service and resolve issues while enforcing policy flexibly.
• Guide callers to where they can buy parts and receive repair service.
• Work with internal customers on warranty claims, stock issues and lost or damaged freight.
• Enter orders, give pricing and stock availability, and update customers on order status.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• High school education or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service, call center or closely related experience with inbound calls.
• Written and verbal skills, with a clear, pleasant voice and ability to handle irate callers and high-stress situations.
• Ability to satisfy customers with minimal need for management intervention.

Required skills

• Excellent phone skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Microsoft Access is a plus.
