Bilingual Customer Support Associate

About the role

Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, is hiring a Bilingual Customer Service Representative for its Anderson, SC office. The role handles inbound calls from consumers, service centers and distributors about company policies, procedures and warranty matters. It is an onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Respond accurately to consumer, service center and distributor calls about company policies and procedures.
• Verify and authorize warranty coverage for all callers.
• Provide helpful guidance on warranty and non-warranty service and resolve issues while applying policy flexibly.
• Direct callers to where they can buy parts and receive repair service.
• Work with internal customers on warranty claims, stock issues and lost or damaged freight.
• Enter orders, give pricing and stock availability, and update customers on order status.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• High school education or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in customer service, call center or a closely related field with inbound call experience.
• Onsite position.

Required skills

• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle irate callers and high-stress situations professionally.
• Excellent phone skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Microsoft Access is a plus.
