Bilingual Credit Counselor - Remote, West Coast Evening Shift

About the role

American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC) is hiring bilingual Credit Counselors for a 100% remote, full-time position on the West Coast evening shift. No prior credit counseling experience is required because paid training is provided. The role suits empathetic, strong communicators who can help clients discuss their finances and find solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls and build trust with consumers seeking financial guidance.
• Review income, expenses, debts and budgets, and recommend financial solutions such as debt management, bankruptcy, credit and collection options.
• Provide financial education and help qualified clients enroll in programs.
• Process applications and accurately enter and verify client information.
• Follow up with prospective clients and verify client information using approved systems and sources.
• Follow ACCC procedures, compliance requirements and training standards, complete required training and certification within set timeframes, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service, communication and listening skills; comfortable discussing sensitive personal financial matters by phone.
• Customer service, call center, financial services or sales experience preferred.
• Must obtain the NFCC Credit Counselor Certification within six months of employment.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace suitable for confidential client conversations.

• Ability to document client information accurately, write routine reports and client correspondence, and work independently in a remote environment.
