Behavioural Health Patient Intake Executive

About the role

As a Behavioural Health Patient Intake Executive, you will be the first point of contact for patients, handling scheduling, information collection, and providing compassionate service.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments, make reminder calls and inform patients about delays.
• Obtain, update and verify patient addresses, contact details, insurance information and medical histories.
• Assist patients in completing required forms such as histories, consents and payment contracts.
• Receive and process cash and credit‑card payments, review accounts and collect overdue balances.
• Answer patient inquiries, investigate issues, direct them to appropriate medical staff and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Perform clerical duties including filing paperwork and maintaining accurate records.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Prior experience in healthcare administration or customer service is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare management software.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
