Patient Outreach Coordinator

About the role

The Patient Outreach Coordinator provides essential administrative and communication support to healthcare providers in a remote healthcare environment. You will manage patient information, coordinate care‑related workflows, and act as a key liaison between patients, doctors, labs, pharmacies, and other partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate telehealth appointments, ensuring patient readiness, documentation, and identification.
• Monitor patient messages, gather information, and route requests according to protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records, notes, and communications within the EHR system.
• Handle lab orders and results, medication refill requests, and referrals, tracking status and notifying providers.
• Perform eligibility and benefits verification, document coverage details, and manage prior authorizations.
• Conduct post‑visit follow‑ups, manage inboxes, task queues, and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.

Required profile

• MBBS degree (mandatory).
• U.S. healthcare and doctor experience.
• Clear, professional English communication skills.
• Warm, empathetic, service‑oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Experience using payer portals and healthcare communication tools.
• Knowledge of HIPAA‑compliant handling of patient information.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare workflows.
