Behavioral Health Clinician – Community Treatment Services

About the role

PsyPhyCare is seeking experienced Behavioral Health Clinicians to deliver community‑based outpatient services to adults involved with the federal criminal justice system in Rapid City, South Dakota. The role offers flexible scheduling based on program needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual counseling, therapeutic group sessions, and crisis intervention assessments.
• Deliver substance use disorder, mental health, co‑occurring disorder, and, when qualified, sex offender treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, progress monitoring, and coordinate with program personnel.
• Utilize evidence‑based approaches, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and uphold confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Current, valid professional license or certification permitting practice in South Dakota.
• Demonstrated experience providing behavioral health services to a criminal‑justice population.
• Experience in at least one area: substance use disorder, mental health, co‑occurring disorders, or sex offender treatment.
• Ability to produce required clinical documentation and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.
