Behavior Interventionist – Part‑Time ABA Therapist

About the role

California Behavioral Treatment Center is seeking compassionate professionals to deliver one‑on‑one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. You will work in home, school, and community settings, helping clients build communication, social, and self‑help skills under clinical supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents in various settings.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for each client.
• Collect and record data on client progress to inform treatment.
• Support ABA treatment programs in home and school environments.
• Assist in developing treatment programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Required profile

• High School Diploma (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Child Development, Education, Communication Disorders, or related field (preferred).
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass TB test, criminal background check, and fingerprint clearance.

Required skills

• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodology.
• Data collection and documentation of client progress.

What we offer

• Pay range $22.00 – $26.00 per hour, based on experience and education.
• Mileage reimbursement paid per mile.
• Drive time compensation for travel between client locations.
