About the role
Ensemble Schools seeks a fun, nurturing piano instructor to teach early‑childhood music in private one‑on‑one and group settings at the Modern Music Academy in Montclair, NJ.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one‑on‑one and small‑group piano lessons for children ages 5‑10.
- Follow and adapt lesson plans provided by the program.
- Maintain consistent availability, preferably 1‑2 days per week (6‑12 hours).
Required profile
- Degree in Music Education or Music Performance.
- Experience teaching young children and passing a routine background check.
- Comfortable reading, interpreting and implementing lesson plans.
Required skills
- Proficiency in piano instruction.
- Knowledge of music theory and performance techniques.
