Banquet House Attendant

About the role

The Banquet House Attendant sets up, breaks down, and services meeting rooms at The Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport, ensuring guest expectations and sustainability standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms according to banquet event order forms and documents.
• Transport heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, and dance floors safely using proper equipment.
• Break down meeting rooms and return items to storage in an organized fashion.
• Maintain cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms.
• Respond to guest requests for service changes and assist with information requests.
• Handle guest complaints personally or seek supervisor assistance.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous banquet set‑up or customer service experience preferred.

Required skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Use of proper equipment for moving heavy items safely.
