Backend Engineer

About the role

Quindar is building cloud‑native software to operate satellites like servers. As a Backend Engineer you will create and maintain the ground‑segment APIs and services that enable scalable, secure, and cost‑effective satellite operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend APIs and integrate with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Fargate, and EKS.
• Design, implement, and maintain containerized applications and Kubernetes deployments.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and cross‑functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Optimize resource utilization, security, and performance while troubleshooting production issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of professional backend or full‑stack development experience.
• U.S. Person status and ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance (ITAR compliant).
