AWS MarTech Developer – Delivery Consultant

About the role

The Deloitte Customer team is looking for an AWS MarTech Developer to help clients build deeper relationships through innovative, data‑driven marketing solutions. You will work in a hybrid delivery‑center model, collaborating with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and technical designs into API specifications, configuration records, deployment materials, and runbooks.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and support serverless, event‑driven, API‑based messaging and data‑processing solutions using AWS services.
• Develop email, SMS, and transactional messaging capabilities, including personalization, audience segmentation, and delivery workflow management.
• Integrate AWS with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Core, CRM systems, CDPs, websites, mobile apps, and data platforms.
• Implement security, reliability, and operational controls such as encryption, access controls, retries, idempotency, throttling, dead‑letter queues, monitoring, and audit trails.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and experience developing applications on AWS using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• AWS services: Lambda, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, SES, CloudWatch, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, RDS, Kinesis, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail, Systems Manager.
• Programming: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Integration: REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, JWT, webhooks, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Core, CRM, CDP.
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform), Git.
