About the role

MANTECH is seeking a motivated Availability Manager to support national‑security IT operations in the Annapolis Junction, MD (or San Antonio, TX) area. The role works early‑shift hours and provides 24/7 network availability for a worldwide contract.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage network outages, respond to major incidents, and produce after‑action reports.
  • Use metrics and client data to identify trends, perform root‑cause analysis, and recommend preventative measures.
  • Support service delivery within SLA and KPI targets across geographically dispersed regions.
  • Provide 24/7 operational support and share feedback with PMO teams.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for technical and senior audiences.
  • Willingness to travel and perform physical tasks in lab and server environments.
