Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Mercedes‑Benz of San Francisco is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. You will work on high‑end European vehicles, delivering accurate diagnostics and repairs while upholding the brand’s standards of quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and precision.
• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions, document all steps, and complete repairs according to dealership and factory standards.
• Consult workshop manuals and WIS for accurate procedures.
• Communicate with parts and service advisors to obtain needed components and report additional work requirements.
• Road‑test vehicles safely, record results, and ensure all work is documented on the repair order.
• Tag and save warranty parts as required and follow all safety protocols.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of automotive service experience, preferably with European vehicles.
• ASE certification or equivalent automotive service qualifications.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug test, background check, and dealership insurance requirements.
