Biotech Program Manager

About the role

Ohalo is seeking a Biotech Program Manager to lead one or more discovery, development, or production programs. In this full‑accountability role you will act as the general manager for breakthrough technology initiatives, defining strategy, overseeing cross‑functional teams, and delivering results on time.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end success of programs focused on molecular, cellular, or whole‑plant discovery and process development.
• Design and implement high‑throughput and technology‑driven screening and process‑engineering methods.
• Develop integrated program plans, manage budgets, forecasts, and analytics.
• Coordinate science, engineering, lab, and greenhouse operations to maintain a coherent schedule.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, decision‑making, escalation, and accountability.
• Identify bottlenecks, prioritize work, and apply structured problem‑solving to unblock teams.
• Create communication artifacts ranging from technical deep‑dives to executive summaries.

Required profile

• Strong background in molecular biology, cellular biology or biochemistry.
• Experience designing, developing, and managing high‑throughput and automated laboratory workflows.
• Proven leadership and organizational abilities in fast‑moving, high‑ownership environments.
• Demonstrated capability to leverage AI tools to accelerate and scale scientific output.
