Automotive Account Executive

About the role

iHeartMedia Markets is hiring an Automotive Account Executive in Indianapolis. The role uses iHeart's broadcast and digital marketing products to sell advertising to local automotive dealerships, dealer groups and automotive-related businesses, with uncapped commission and a 7-week onboarding program.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the broadcast and digital marketing products and use them to meet client expectations.
• Identify and develop new business through in-person client meetings, prospecting and research.
• Cultivate and grow existing business with the full product suite.
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and develop marketing campaigns.
• Deliver sales presentations using data and storytelling tailored to client needs and goals.
• Build relationships with local dealerships, dealer groups and automotive businesses to drive new and incremental revenue.
• Develop customized advertising solutions that help clients generate leads, increase dealership traffic and support vehicle sales.
• Stay current on the local automotive market, dealership landscape and client priorities.

Required profile

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, expert negotiator and proactive; comfortable cold-calling and reaching out to prospects.
• Able to plan and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and a high school diploma (college degree preferred).
• Digital/media sales experience is a plus; experience with multi-platform campaigns, analytics, iHeart or audio advertising and market connections are a bonus.
