Audit IAAS Intern – Internal Audit & IT Controls

About the role

We are looking for an Audit IAAS Intern to join our internal audit team. The intern will support operational, financial, IT and SOX audits across the organization, gaining hands‑on experience in risk assessment and control testing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in assessing risks and the effectiveness of controls for finance and technology operations, including data centers, applications, and telecommunications.
• Conduct auditee interviews, execute test plans, review transactions, documents and reports, and prepare audit work papers.
• Document processes and test key controls related to financial reporting and IT (SOX 404 compliance).
• Research and compile data for audit projects, perform data analytics, and present findings and recommendations to the audit team.
• Participate in special projects and occasional travel as required.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting, Finance, IT or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Classroom or practical experience in finance, accounting, IT or audit.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability and willingness to learn internal‑audit standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
