Audit & Assurance Senior

About the role

HTB is seeking an Audit & Assurance Senior to join its Assurance team. The role involves delivering diversified accounting and assurance assignments while developing deeper technical expertise and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diversified accounting and assurance assignments under the direction of senior staff.
• Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and firm standards.
• Meet client deadlines and time constraints.
• Participate in planning client engagements.
• Prepare financial statements using the firm’s software and produce related reports and projects.
• Develop a command of GAAP, other accounting bases, and financial statement presentation.
• Build quality client relationships and loyalty.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks to see them through to completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a four‑year college or university.
• Two to four years of related experience or an equivalent education‑experience combination.
• Active CPA license preferred but not required.

Required skills

• GAAP knowledge.
