Attorney – Employment & Healthcare Litigation (Baton Rouge)

About the role

QPWB, a national civil and commercial litigation and transactional law firm, is expanding its Baton Rouge office. We are seeking an experienced attorney with a portable book of business to join our Employment Law and Healthcare defense practice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a client portfolio in employment and healthcare civil and commercial defense.
• Provide regulatory, compliance, and transactional counsel to corporate clients.
• Collaborate with national cross‑marketing teams to generate new business opportunities.
• Lead case strategy, oversee litigation, and negotiate settlements.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm‑wide business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney in Louisiana with a proven track record in employment law and healthcare litigation.
• Portable book of business demonstrating ability to generate revenue.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance issues in the healthcare sector.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a practice within a supportive firm culture.
