Attorney – Civil & Commercial Litigation (Louisiana)

About the role

QPWB is expanding its Louisiana footprint and seeks experienced attorneys to join its national civil/commercial litigation and transactional practice. The role offers the chance to lead a portable book of business across multiple defense and regulatory practice areas while benefiting from the firm’s operational and marketing support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage civil and commercial defense matters for corporate clients.
• Defend medical malpractice and long‑term care claims.
• Handle workers’ compensation defense and labor & employment disputes.
• Provide regulatory, compliance, and transactional legal services.
• Develop and grow a portable book of business through client development and cross‑marketing collaboration.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney with a proven portable book of business.
• Experience in civil/commercial defense, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, labor & employment, and regulatory/transactional work.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and passion for growing a legal practice.
• Ability to work independently while leveraging firm‑wide resources.
