Attendee Acquisition Manager, Trade Shows

About the role

The Attendee Acquisition Manager drives attendance at world‑class trade shows by building relationships with key industry buyers and influencers. Leveraging customer insights and data‑mining techniques, you will design and deliver on‑show programming that enhances the attendee experience and meets registration targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop relationships with targeted attendees through visits, calls and emails throughout the show cycle.
• Research and identify prospective attendee targets using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop target lists, execute data‑mining plans and support the marketing communications plan.
• Define and track attendee registration goals, reporting weekly to ensure targets are met.
• Plan and execute onsite programming and events that elevate the customer experience.
• Participate in strategic meetings to shape annual strategy and budget.
• Provide personalized service to key attendees, managing registration, amenities, special programming and focus groups.
• Attend competitive shows and industry events to strengthen relationships and prospect new business.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of account management or related experience; sales/marketing background preferred.
• Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to travel domestically and internationally (≈30% travel).
