Attendee Acquisition Manager – Trade Shows

About the role

Are you passionate about customer experience and creating unforgettable events? Would you like to drive attendance at world‑class trade shows and events? The Attendee Acquisition Manager works with event and marketing leadership to define key segments, develop relationships with target attendees, and drive registration and onsite programming.

Key responsibilities

• Develop relationships with targeted attendees through visits, calls and emails throughout the show cycle.
• Research and identify prospective attendee targets using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create target lists, execute data‑mining plans and support communications.
• Define and track registration goals, reporting weekly to ensure attendance targets are met.
• Plan and execute onsite programming and events that elevate the customer experience.
• Provide personalized service to key attendees, managing registration, amenities and special programming.
• Attend competitive shows and industry events to strengthen relationships and prospect new business.
• Identify industry associations for partnership opportunities and manage external relationships.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of account management or related experience; sales/marketing background preferred.
• Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to travel domestically and internationally (≈30% travel).
