Attendance & Registration Technician – School Year 2026-2027

About the role

The Attendance & Registration Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate student records and performing daily attendance accounting for a Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) school. The position becomes effective for the 2026‑2027 school year at Robins K‑8 School, serving the Sweetwater & Silverbell area.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and update student enrollment and demographic information in district databases.
• Track daily student attendance, generate reports, and reconcile attendance data.
• Support teachers and administrators with attendance‑related inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and reporting deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and follow data‑security protocols.

Required profile

• Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English.
• Three years of experience in general office procedures or attendance accounting.
• Ability to pass an FBI fingerprint background check.
• Proof of immunity to measles and rubella or documented MMR vaccination.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
