Athletic Camp Worker

About the role

The Athletic Camp Worker supports the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith’s summer athletic camp programs, assisting coaches and participants to ensure a safe, organized, and engaging experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and break down sports equipment and facilities before and after camp sessions.
• Supervise camp participants, enforce safety guidelines, and respond to minor injuries.
• Assist coaches with drills, schedule coordination, and participant tracking.
• Maintain cleanliness of camp areas and ensure equipment is stored properly.
• Perform basic clerical tasks such as attendance logging and distributing materials.

Required profile

• Reliable and punctual with the ability to work flexible hours during the camp period.
• Physically able to lift equipment and be active throughout the day.
• Comfortable working with youth and able to communicate clearly.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
