Associate User Experience Designer (Remote)

About the role

Availity, a healthcare engagement platform serving health care professionals, is hiring an Associate User Experience (UX) Designer for its Design and Experience Team. The role works with User Research to turn insights into high-quality solutions and independently produces deliverables from wireframes to polished visual designs, interactive prototypes, user flows and reusable design system patterns. Sponsorship is not available.

Key responsibilities

• Translate user research insights into user-centered, visually compelling designs that support business goals.
• Produce user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity visuals, interactive prototypes and design system patterns.
• Collaborate with UX, research, product and engineering teams and articulate design goals and outcomes with stakeholders.
• Weave experiences across multiple platforms into a consistent brand story.
• Advocate for accessibility and encourage accessible features in product and engineering.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in UX, interaction, web, graphic, new media, interactive digital media or computer science preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Over two years of experience designing digital products, with a strong portfolio showing high-fidelity design, visual exploration and concept work.
• Experience gathering user insights, testing designs and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Adaptability, user empathy, learning agility and self-motivation; video participation in interviews is required.

Required skills

• Strong familiarity with Figma.
• Familiarity with accessibility/508 compliance.
• Plus: behavioral analytics (Google Analytics, Pendo), usability studies, and healthcare technology experience.
