Associate Sales Representative - Peripheral Vascular

About the role

Stryker is hiring an Associate Sales Representative in Wichita, KS for its Peripheral Vascular business. This field-based role works directly with a Sales Representative to support the planning, direction and coordination of selling, marketing and promotion of Stryker Peripheral Vascular products to physicians, medical cath lab staff and other hospital customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Sales Representatives in the marketing, promotion and sales of VTE products.
• Educate doctors, nurses and other staff on the proper use and maintenance of Stryker PV products, product updates and educational programs.
• Tailor promotional messages to the customer, advise on product selection and answer questions about product functionality.
• Direct product evaluations in operating room and office settings, following OR and OSHA guidelines.
• May help prepare and run trade shows, conventions and clinical meetings.
• Keep the regional manager informed of territory progress and solve customer product problems quickly.
• Maintain a sample inventory of products and follow GMP policies and FDA procedures.

Required profile

• 0-2 years in an outside sales position (medical-related experience preferred).
• B.A. or B.S. degree required.
• Successful completion of in-house product training and computer training.
• Ability to communicate with large groups, negotiate price and terms, and resolve customer complaints.
• Medium physical effort (up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs constantly) and up to 20% overnight travel per year.
