Associate Sales Representative - Joint Replacement, North Houston

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Joint Replacement Sales Associate in North Houston, a field-based position within a sales team. The associate supports the marketing and sales of Stryker products by covering cases and performing evaluations in operating rooms and offices, monitors territory development and helps the Sales Representative exceed sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist confident, competitive and results-oriented salespeople in promoting and selling Stryker products.
• Conduct product evaluations in operating room and office settings.
• Support business development, track territory progress and communicate with Sales Representatives.
• Solve product problems onsite and educate medical staff.
• Maintain sample inventory with strong time management and build lasting client relationships.
• Learn and hone selling skills through coaching and mentoring from Sales Representatives and managers.
• Be available on call evenings, weekends and holidays for urgent technical needs.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or medical certification (e.g. CST, PT, CPT) with at least 2 years of related experience, or high school diploma with at least 4 years of related experience, or 4 years of active-duty military service.
• Preferred: medical-related field or B2B sales experience, team leadership experience, sales or marketing internship, and collegiate extracurricular experience showing discipline, teamwork and leadership.
• Valid driver's license and fluency in written and spoken English.
• Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs and exert up to 50 lbs occasionally or 20 lbs constantly.
• Willingness to handle instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or other bodily fluids; COVID-19 vaccination may be required depending on customer requirements.

• Salary of $63,100-$98,200 plus bonus eligibility.
