Associate Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology

About the role

The University of Miami Health System seeks an Associate Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology to provide comprehensive ENT care, lead an outreach clinic, and contribute to academic teaching and research.

Key responsibilities

• Provide initial clinic assessments, pre‑operative workups, postoperative follow‑ups and new consults for ENT patients.
• Perform office‑based ENT procedures, including detailed otology, rhinology and head‑and‑neck examinations.
• Run an independent outreach clinic within the University of Miami Medical Group.
• Participate in didactic teaching for medical students, residents and fellows and supervise their clinical activities.
• Engage in departmental meetings, Grand Rounds and scholarly activities.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or eligible in Otolaryngology‑Head and Neck Surgery.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary health‑care teams.
• Strong patient assessment skills and capacity to develop and modify care plans.
• Effective communication with patients, families and health‑care professionals.

Required skills

• Clinical expertise in otology, rhinology and head‑and‑neck examinations.
• Proficiency in performing common ENT office procedures.
• Teaching and mentorship experience in an academic setting.
