Associate Professor of Clinical OBGYN, Gynecologic Oncology

About the role

The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami seeks Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified Gynecologic Oncologists at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join a multidisciplinary division dedicated to academic, evidence‑based clinical care and research.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical care at the University of Miami campus, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and affiliated community sites.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and supervise sub‑specialty training.
• Engage in clinical and translational research with protected research time and startup funds.
• Participate in departmental service, including mentorship of junior faculty and involvement in fellowship program leadership.
• Maintain on‑call duties and dedicated operating‑room block time.

Required profile

• MD or DO with completion of a 4‑year ACGME Obstetrics & Gynecology residency.
• ABOG/ACGME‑approved fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.
• Active, unrestricted Florida medical license (or eligibility).
• Commitment to academic medicine, research, and education.

Required skills

• Clinical expertise in gynecologic oncology surgery and patient management.
• Ability to conduct and publish clinical or translational research.
• Teaching and mentorship skills for trainees.
