Associate Principal Scientist – Outcomes Research (HIV)

About the role

The Associate Principal Scientist/Associate Director, Value & Implementation (V&I) Outcomes Research, sits within the V&I organization that includes Global Medical and Scientific Affairs and Outcomes Research. Reporting to a senior leader, the role plans and manages real‑world and economic evidence activities for both current and pipeline HIV products to support clinicians, payers, policymakers, HTA agencies and health systems worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute prospective and retrospective observational studies, health‑economic models, systematic reviews and meta‑analyses.
• Develop American Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) dossiers for U.S. payers and Global Value Dossiers for international HTA submissions.
• Manage study contracts, budgets and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with company SOPs and Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practice.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with clinical development, medical affairs, biostatistics, market access and commercial teams.
• Present outcomes research findings at national and international conferences and publish in scientific journals.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in health services research, outcomes research, epidemiology, public health, health economics, pharmacoeconomics or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience after the master’s degree or at least one year after a doctoral degree; doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DrPH, ScD, PharmD) preferred.

What we offer

• Salary range $156,900 – $247,000 per year, with eligibility for annual bonus and long‑term incentives.
