About the role

The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Northeastern University seeks a 52‑week non‑tenure‑track faculty member to serve as Associate/Full Teaching Professor and Director of Graduate Programs. This senior academic leader will oversee the M.S. and Ph.D. programs, ensuring curriculum quality, accreditation compliance, and alignment with emerging fields such as AI‑driven drug discovery and translational therapeutics. The role combines teaching, scholarship, and extensive service to modernize graduate education across multiple delivery modalities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary academic and administrative lead for graduate programs, overseeing curriculum governance, assessment, and compliance with NECHE standards.
• Chair the M.S./Ph.D. Committee, guiding curriculum development, industry collaborations, and strategic growth of programs domestically and internationally.
• Develop and launch market‑aligned graduate courses in areas like biomedical AI, cell therapy, and digital health, integrating experiential learning and industry partnerships.
• Oversee student progression, advising, and mentorship, ensuring timely completion of milestones and handling academic integrity matters.
