Associate Medical Director, Psychiatry

About the role

The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is hiring a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as Associate Medical Director for the Elgin Mental Health Center in Elgin, Illinois. The Associate Director monitors, supervises and coordinates the clinical psychiatric and medical support services program, and acts as a subject matter expert in the planning and delivery of psychiatric medical services to patients served at the center.

• Serve as Associate Medical Director for the Elgin Mental Health Center.
• Serve as full-line supervisor.
• Monitor, supervise and coordinate the clinical psychiatric and medical support services program.
• Act as subject matter expert in the planning and delivery of psychiatric medical services.

Required profile

• Board-Certified Psychiatrist with a special license to practice medicine in psychiatry and neurology in Illinois.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the State does not provide visa sponsorship.
• Bilingual skills are welcome.

What we offer

• Anticipated salary of $23,841 to $25,841 per month ($286,092 to $310,092 per year).
• Full-time, salaried position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
