Associate Marketing Manager - Digital Gaming

About the role

The Associate Marketing Manager joins Mattel's Digital Gaming team, which expands Mattel's IP catalog in digital gaming through outbound licensing to third-party game developers and publishers and co-development partnerships. The role reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, Digital Gaming, and is based in Mattel's offices in El Segundo, California. It supports the Senior Marketing Manager on brand and product marketing strategy and tactics for licensed titles, partnering with licensees to deliver campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Review marketing materials, give guidance or feedback, and lead reviews of go-to-market plans, creative assets and marketing activations with licensees so digital games reflect Mattel's brands and meet performance targets
• Work with Production, PR, Brand, Franchise and Legal teams to align plans and manage feedback on marketing materials and activities
• Leverage Mattel marketing channels to increase support and visibility of digital gaming initiatives
• Deliver high-quality, performance-driven campaigns aligned with franchise priorities
• Track campaign performance with licensees to identify improvements and present marketing updates to Digital Games, Product, Retail and Franchise teams

Required profile

• 2+ years of marketing experience in the gaming industry
• Experience driving successful marketing campaigns for well-known brands, ideally in brand management or licensing
• Ability to manage multiple projects and build internal and external relationships
• Understanding of brand management, product marketing, channel marketing, user acquisition and social media
• Strong time management, planning and project execution skills, and excellent written and verbal communication

What we offer

• Pay range of $112,000 to $140,000 annually, depending on location, skills and experience
• In-office work Monday to Thursday, with work from home on Fridays
