Associate Manager, Global Marketing – Complexion & Skincare

About the role

The Associate Manager, Global Marketing – Complexion & Skincare will support Shiseido Americas’ NARS brand by driving new product launches and ongoing business initiatives across global markets. Reporting to the Director of Global Marketing, you will collaborate with product development, packaging, creative, merchandising, education, and communications teams to deliver cohesive strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive B‑ and C‑level product launches (skincare and Asia‑exclusive powders) and support A‑level launches.
• Own copy, creative, merchandising, film, packaging, and digital briefs for owned launches.
• Manage a direct‑report coordinator, overseeing new program kick‑offs, DevX, Gate 0 briefs, launch bulletins, artwork, SAP, and Dragonfly processes.
• Identify growth opportunities through consumer insights, industry trends, and competitive analysis.
• Develop expertise in platforms such as NPD, Beaute Research, WGSN, Mintel, Cognos, and internal studies.
• Lead cross‑functional market research as the primary point of contact.

Required profile

• Proven experience driving product launches in the beauty or skincare sector.
• Strong analytical ability to translate consumer and market data into growth strategies.
• Experience managing a coordinator or junior team member.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional areas and geographic regions.
