Associate IT Onsite Support

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking an Associate IT Onsite Support professional to join its IT Client Services Campus Projects team. This position provides day‑to‑day technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students across campus, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software, and network resources.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of workstations and related equipment.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and service requests in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to support campus projects and upgrades.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide customer‑focused technical support.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
