Associate Director, Quantitative Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics – Immunology

About the role

The Associate Director will lead mechanistic modeling efforts to support translational and drug development research in immunology, collaborating across functional teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute model analysis plans using PK/PD, PBPK, QSP, and other mechanistic approaches.
• Integrate preclinical and clinical data to inform dose selection, trial design, and go/no‑go decisions.
• Perform clinical trial simulations, comparator modeling, and model‑based analyses.
• Mentor team members and share modeling expertise to advance departmental science.

Required profile

• Ph.D. (or PharmD, MS) with 4–8 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical drug development, regulatory agencies, or academia.
• Strong background in biopharmaceutics, pharmacometrics, mathematics, statistics, computational biology, or related engineering fields.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and influence cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on population PK/PD and QSP modeling using Phoenix, R, Matlab, NONMEM, Monolix.
• Advanced experimental design, mathematical problem solving, and data interpretation.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.
