Associate Director of Admissions – School of Law

About the role

The Associate Director of Admissions supports the design, implementation, and execution of a comprehensive recruitment strategy for the University of Miami School of Law, helping the institution meet its enrollment targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of admission professionals to develop and execute recruitment strategies, including events, webinars, and school visits.
• Manage the travel recruiting budget, analyze enrollment data, and recommend improvements to outreach activities.
• Oversee the admissions workflow for all law programs, from application review to scholarship interviews and student onboarding.
• Develop and maintain admissions publications, communication campaigns, and web content, ensuring data integrity across Unite, CaneLink, and campus systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD or master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in admissions, student enrollment, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and judgment skills, with the ability to travel heavily during peak recruitment seasons.
• Demonstrated success in event planning, team leadership, and customer service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Unite law‑school CRM system.
• Experience using CaneLink and other campus data systems.
• Ability to analyze enrollment reports and use data to drive recruitment decisions.
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
