About the role

Precision Strategies is seeking an Associate to join its Data & Analytics team in New York, NY (or Washington, DC). This entry‑level position supports intelligence and insights work, turning social listening, reputation monitoring, primary research, and AI‑powered analysis into strategic communications for high‑profile clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist client leads with administrative tasks such as agendas, notes, trackers, and project documentation.
• Support social listening and digital intelligence workstreams, pulling and summarizing data from platforms like Brandwatch, Meltwater, or Sprinklr.
• Help execute primary research projects, including surveys and focus groups, from data cleaning to reporting.
• Draft client‑facing reports, presentations, and deliverables with high accuracy and clear storytelling.

Required profile

• 1+ years of professional experience in data, analytics, research, communications, or a related field (internship experience considered).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a resourceful, problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Familiarity with social listening tools such as Brandwatch, Meltwater, or Sprinklr.
